• How do I send my artwork for my card project?
    US1 prefers that you e-mail us your digital artwork file. If your artwork is over 5mb, please compress the file using file compressing programs such as WINZIP or STUFFIT. We also have an FTP site to which your file can be uploaded. If you are unable to email the file or utilize our FTP service, the art file can be saved to a CD and shipped to US1.


  • How long does it take to receive my order?
    Most orders will ship in 10 – 12 working days following all approvals. US1 also provides a “RUSH” service at an additional fee if you need expedited delivery.


  • What is variable data?
    Variable data is any unique information that is printed on each card such as a PIN number, serial number or a barcode. The information encoded on a magnetic stripe is also variable data. Printing variable data on cards is also called “personalization”.


  • Can I have a different name printed on each card?
    Yes, US1 has the capability of printing personalized cards. Please speak with a Sales Representative for more information on personalized cards and order fulfillment.


  • What is Four-Color Processing or Full color printing?
    Four-color process printing uses blue, red yellow and black (CMYK) to represent any color. To learn more about four-color processing please follow this link: http://people.howstuffworks.com/offset-printing2.htm


  • What if I don’t have a complete design for my project?
    US1 can provide design assistance for your project. Our in-house graphic designers design the artwork for you or can provide templates which you can download. If you need additional information please speak with a Sales Representative.
